The House Of Stone consists of three very talented musicians with very different musical backgrounds and tastes. This diversity allows them the ability to provide a venue a variety of music to satisfy virtually every patron. Don’t let the fact that they are only a three piece fool you. Their sound is as big and full as any four or five piece band, maybe even better. They play with an emotion that projects the absolute fun they are having, while laying down a sound that is tight honest and true. Stone Michaels has very strong lead vocals and sings mastering from George Strait to ZZ Top easily. His guitar playing is unrivaled and is truly his own style. He covers steel guitar parts, harmonica, fiddle, and keyboard parts effortlessly. The bassist, Michael Zubay a.k.a. Did’r, has been playing for many years and has the most experience of the group. He lays down a solid grove for the group and fattens the sound out with expressive progressions putting his heart and soul into every song. He even does some back up vocals as well. Leviticus J is THE drummer every group wants. This cat is so phenomenal on the skins, that even Metronomes are jealous of him. Dancers love him as they never have to stop and re-adjust their timing. Every song he plays is perfect confection of beats combined with imaginative stick twirling and juggling. This group is a group that every venue needs to keep a crowd happy and hopping.
