B-Sides: Willie Nelson

WATCHIN WILLIE

Mark as Favorite

If you have the chance to see a musical legend, you pretty much have to take it, right? Of course you do. That's why you'd be silly not to head to Desert Diamond Casino (1100 W. Pima Mine Road, Sahaurita) on Sunday, Jan. 3. Crooning country troubadour Willie Nelson will be making a stop down south to offer up some of the music that spans his oft-lauded six-decade career. From his well-loved country classic "Crazy" (I'm partial to Patsy's, but Willie's the original) to his 2014 release December Day to his best-selling book Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die: Musings from the Road, it doesn't seem like the 82-year-old singer-songwriter is slowing down anytime soon, so it should be quite a show.

You can see those iconic braids and the man behind them live beginning at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. Tickets range in price from $35 to $85. For more information, and to buy tickets, to this and other events at the casino, visit
