B-Sides: TFA Soundsystem

Tucson, I love you, but you’re bringing me down

This just might be the last time you'll ever get to see Tucson's own LCD Soundsystem cover band. That's because TFA Soundsystem's singer Sean Hughes is leaving the Old Pueblo and his dance worthy cover band along with it. I know. It's sad, but, rather than being bummed, you can take this opportunity to Dance Yrself Clean with All My Friends for one more night. Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong, but either way, you can check the band out for two sets at Opti Club on Thursday, Aug. 27.

TFA Soundsystem will be joined by "robot DJs" Deft Punkz beginning at 10 p.m. It's a 21 and over event and there isn't a cover. Like any other Opti Club night, it'll all go down at Club Congress, located at 311 E. Congress St. Unlike other Opti Club nights, it's a live band. Plus, Opti Club drink specials for card-carrying members mean you'll likely have the pleasure of meeting a few Drunk Girls there.
