B-Sides: Lindsey Stirling

ELECTRO-CLASSICAL

Frenetic, energetic and new with moments of timelessness, Phoenix-area violinist Lindsey Stirling puts on a show like no one else. The violinist offers up technically stunning strings played over electronic beats and more for an immersive experience that earned her spots on both the Billboard's Classical and Dance/Electronic charts when she released her debut self-titled album in 2012. However, her live show doesn't stop at that. With her lively stage performance, her upcoming gig at the Tucson Music Hall (260 S. Church Ave.) will be as much about watching as it will be listening—but seriously, imagine the acoustics in there.

In support of her 2014 release Shatter Me, Stirling is on a world tour that'll roll through Tucson on Wednesday, Aug. 12 beginning at 7:30 p.m. The all-ages show is $27.50 - $47.50 and tickets can be found through www.rialtotheatre.com.
