B-Sides: Dogbreth

Phoenix's Dogbreth is taking that arduous hour and a half trek down south to give the Old Pueblo a taste of their sunny, fun-loving style of punk. No need to throw elbows at this show because Dogbreth will be here to offer upbeat jams with a DIY vibe. However, if that isn't Tucson enough for you, the show will also feature three local acts including Dirt Friends, "surf pop/hip-hop" group Four Star Dad and the brand new Let Go of Everything. The latter group features Logan Greene of Diet Pop Records who put out Dogbreth's Sentimental Health.

All four bands will be taking over the Club Congress stage on Wednesday, Dec. 30 beginning at 8 p.m. Admission is $5 and it is a 16 and over event.

I'll guess that you likely are also looking to plan your New Year's Eve festivities. Well, don't fret. While a New Year's Eve guide will be running in next week's issue as our music feature, you can check it out online before the issue comes out in case you're an early planner. That way you can ring in 2016 right with live local music, champagne toasts and more. Check out our blog for that piece.
