B-Sides: Día de las Luchas

MASKS ON

Mark as Favorite

Would you like a serving of smackdown with your music this weekend? Great. Rialto Theatre (318 E. Congress St.) is matching up luchador wrestling bouts with music courtesy of Tucson's The Pork Torta—though for the night they'll be performing under the moniker Los Torta. The goofy, funky hard-rockin' rock 'n' roll group will provide a rather interesting backdrop for the masked wrestlers to do their thing. For those out of towners who've come to the Old Pueblo with the intention of soaking in some culture, this is a cool combination of local music and Mexican traditions in a historic Tucson theatre that will keep you entertained. Plus, part of the night's proceeds go to benefit Many Mouths One Stomach to keep the All Souls Procession marching on into the future.

You can catch all of the fun beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6. Tickets can be found for $10 online in advance, along with more information, at

www.rialtotheatre.com. It is an all ages event.
