B-Sides: Abstract Rude

RUDE BOY

If you don't know it by now, Scratch Shack, located at 245 W. Speedway Blvd., is the spot to see underground and independent hip hop in Tucson. This time, the venue plays host to a West Coast artist known as Abstract Rude. Although you may not be familiar with his work, Abstract Rude has been at it since the early '90s, steadily releasing solid albums and representing the L.A. rap scene well.

Catch Abstract Rude live with touring support from Joaquin Daniels and Cquel, as well as Tucson up-and-comers Coyote Keyes, Ricky the Dealer, Aeon and more. The show kicks off at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 21. Entry is $5 at the door.
