flummoxed by it all!
A great and varied dessert selection, but their coffee really leaves something to be desired. Good coffee is a must for a good dessert shop.
Steller's column was about how a district administrator said flat out that TUSD used PROP 301 money on things OTHER than teacher salaries and incentives. That is a violation of Prop 301.
There may be a lot of hyperbole in the letters from the administrators, but that doesn't mean that the allegations aren't true at their core.. HT and Grijalva have admitted that there are some things to be concerned about, that should tell you that there are merits to the points they and Awwad raise.
Sanchez seems to be taking a page from former Sunnyside superintendent Isquirdo. Align yourself with a majority of the board, keep tight control of the information (including keeping some board members out of the loop), destroy dissenters and critics.
Blind support for a superintendent, ANY superintendent, is not how a good governing board member should conduct him or her self. With the financial issues raised by Awwad out in the open (as they should have been from the beginning) the board MUST make the new auditor report directly to them and not the superintendent. Anything less is an abdication of their duties as a board member and maybe they shouldn't remain.
Now, I know that many will jump behind Foster, Grijalva and Juarez simply because they are Democrats and they see this as a Stegeman-Hicks vs the majority. but they should ask themselves :If these allegations were being made against Pedicone, where would you stand?"
WOB has an amazing selection of beer, no one can deny this.
BUT, my experience there a few weeks ago was less than amazing. it took 15+mins for someone to come take our order, and another 5 mins for our beers to be delivered.
Far too many places downtown with good or great beer selections to support a business that pulls this kind of BS on a customer. I get pulling down the rant, but offer a very sincere and very very public apology in its place.
If she breaks out that finger again, wonder if the Secret Service will evoke "stand your ground"
yesBob, Varney wasn't hired for his opinion, he was hired to provide leadership. His attempt to dump "Old Pueblo" showed a complete lack of leadership.
I thought the F-35 were going to be stationed at the ANG base at TIA, not DM
He can leverage the TUSD offer to get something from ECISD and/or leverage this new development to get a sweeter deal from TUSD.
the dude is in the catbird seat...
