Re: “Fighting for Mom

I still cannot believe this happened to her. I was in PCSO with Pamela. She came in the same night I did. I remember I had been in holding I don't know how long since the flouresent lights are on, and no one will tell you what time it is. It was my first time in jail. I ended up spending a month in there for a traffic ticket. I have extreme anxiety/depression. And I'm still to this day so thankful that she was there for me. Like a mother bird kind of. I was having panic attacks, then she came in (and saved me from myself). When you have anxiety it's a feeling of imminent doom. She made an impression on me, and my anxiety. Like she saved my life. For that next month (we didn't know how long we were going to be in there), we helped each other. She taught me the glory of meditation. And I would not have been well in there without her. I still practice mediation. She did not deserve any of this. Thank you Pamela for taking careof me! -Ashley.A
