Arts in the Plaza with Free Concerts
An arts and crafts fair with free live music takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 31; and 10 a.m to 4 p.m., Sunday, April 1; free. Vendors feature oil and acrylic paintings, carved flutes, mixed-media designs, pottery, sculpture, leather and metalwork, photography, porcelain paintings, gourd art and more. Children's entertainment includes face-painting, rope-twirlers, magicians, an acrobatic troupe and other performers. Bands include Jimmy and the Jitterbugs, the River Road Ramblers, the Nightbird Trio, Shaky Bones, Baba Marimba and more. Visit fineartfest.org for schedules and more information.
