Anza Day Celebration 

When: Sat., Oct. 20 2012
Juan Bautista de Anza's founding of San Francisco began with his 1776 departure from Tubac. Re-enactment of that event highlights living-history presentations, demonstrations and costumes of the Native American, Mexican and Spanish Colonial periods, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20; free. Food and activities for children are available all day. Entertainment includes Tucson troubadour Ted Ramirez, mariachi music and folklorico dancers.
