An Evening with Mark and Gabby

Sunday, Oct. 26, 7 p.m.

The tragedy that took place on Jan. 8, 2011 still resonates with most Tucsonans, and the story of former U.S. Congresswoman Gabby Giffords' recovery aided by her husband, astronaut Mark Kelly, is one that many of us are familiar with and have seen the couple discuss on TV news shows. Here's a chance to listen to the couple in person, which seems the best way to hear their personal story of triumph over adversity. The evening takes place at Centennial Hall, 1020 E. University Blvd., on Sunday, Oct. 26, 7 p.m. Tickets are between $20 and $55. For more info and to purchase tickets, go to uapresents.org.
