AIDS Ribbon
The public is invited to remember AIDS victims by lighting candles, leaving mementos and flowers, and writing tributes on an outsized felt reproduction of the red AIDS ribbon, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Oct. 12 and 13; and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 14, at the mesquite grove north of Jácome Plaza on the west side of the library; free. An adjacent booth offers information about HIV prevention, testing and care.
