Aid to Understanding Latino Identity

Chuck Tatum, an author of Chicano Popular Culture and a professor of Spanish in the UA College of Humanities, discusses stereotypes of Latino culture, and important cultural differences between Mexican American, Cuban American, Puerto Rican American and Latin American ethnic groups, in lectures from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 12 and 26; free. Each session includes discussions of literature, film, art, music and food as expressions of identity, ethnicity and history.
