A Chance to Wear Flannel

Joe Pagac and Andy DePew's Alpine Lodge Theme Party is back, Saturday, Jan. 17, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Club Congress, 311 E. Congress St. It's a birthday party that everyone can attend, but you better dress up as your favorite lumberjack, skier/snowboarder, polar bear, yeti, or lederhosen-wearing beer drinker. Go on the event's Facebook page and print out a Goodwill coupon for 25 percent off so you can get a costume together. There's no cover, lots of drink specials, snow machines (this is an Alpine party), two photo booths, a giant video fireplace, and dancing, lots of dancing. Yellow snow (eww) and snowballs on sale benefit Goodwill.
