1. That started long before Clinton. You could point the finger at Reagan in particular, but I guess that wouldn't really agree with your thinking.

The Dallas mass shooting of police officers was not committed in a gun free zone. The shooter specifically targeted victims who were guaranteed to be armed and yet they were unable to defend themselves with their guns.

Our jobs have been outsourced as we have become more neoliberal and have lifted barriers that protected jobs in the past. Don't like outsourcing? Blame capitalism. Globalism is capitalism, and protectionism is not capitalism.
The point is correlation is not causation. There are violent cities in states with high gun control and violent cities with no major gun restrictions at all. To say that any area in this country becomes violent because of the gun laws themselves one way or the other is false.
For better or for worse, billions of dollars can have less power and influence than teachers' unions and local laws which protect incompetent teachers.
