I have asked owners at some independent restaurants why they do not use "earth friendly" carry-out containers and the answer has always been cost. Profit margin is pretty small for independent restaurants and those type of containers are pricey. So are we willing to pay a bit more to help our small restaurants be "earth friendly"?
Agree with those who do not find their food is very good- miss Frog that was up on Oracle and sold their super bread & pastries st the farmers mkt & while pretty pricey food at restaurant was good
