As our community continues to lose young educated talent, it's saddening to hear about cuts to AZPM. We already lack a cohesive quality of life and identity that young people are attracted to, only to read that the U of A will start thrashing at the budget of the few assets our community has. I moved here 11 years ago from the bay area, California and was relieved to discover a public radio station in Tucson which I think demonstrates a strong sense of community. Change is inevitable but keep in mind the unintended consequences of that change.
