Thank you Mari for being the first in the press to share Suzan's story. While so many across the country celebrate yesterday's SCOTUS decisions, this is a critical example of why we need ALL of DOMA repealed so that states can not selectively discriminate against married couples.
Suzan's story needs to be told nationwide so that a real and personal case for moving forward on full marriage equality can be made. I know she will not rest until her son is a permanent and equal part of her life. Those who love and support her will not rest either.
