Attorney General is an elected office, guess who doesn't get my vote. In fact I'll hold my nose and vote the candidate most likely to defeat the incumbent.
" finalized a rule to improve enforcement of existing laws to keep guns out of the hands of people with severe mental illness who are already prohibited from having guns"
There are already laws in place dealing with people that have severe mental problems being restricted from having guns, they must be declared incompetent by a judge not some flunky in a civil service job. The misdirection here that removing this power to abrogate second amendment rights from all except a judge is disingenuous. You don't like guns, I get that but so long as the second amendment is there you don't get to ignore it.
Those that have a problem with this policy should use the potty in their cave before going out in public. That way the rest of us can go back to not caring.
I bought a steak last week, not with SNAP but with my disability check. It was an $8.56 steak that went in sale for $5.56 and didn't sell by Wednesday so it got marked down another 50% so it was $2.76 this bill would ban my kind of thrifty shopping. You can't fix your ego by putting down those that need help, you can reveal who not to vote for.
Where does the intersection start, how wide is it, what's the speed limit, how long is the yellow, do I have to slam on the brakes and stop in the cross walk? There is a way to take days to figure this out, measure the variables figure out the point at which a yellow is too close to stop for, then paint a three foot wide yellow line across the street. No variables just a simple way of knowing where to stop. Some won't pay any attention, but it fixes some of the constitutional problems with the previous red light cameras. For those that are a danger to everyone else a reckless driving citation carries enough points to suspend a driving license.
