Did Arpaio lower flags when Margaret Thatcher died?

Re: “Detail Work

Two-time losers have a pretty lousy track record here in southern Arizona: Jesse Kelly, Jonathan Paton, Ben Buehler-Garcia, Rick Grinnell. Refusing to take positions on legislation solidifies McSally's place on this list.

Re: “Image Problems

If any part of your vehicle is in the intersection during any part of the yellow, you're okay. The only hiccup is that people think the intersection begins at the second crosswalk line, which it does not. It starts where the four curbs intersect. Which in larger intersections is several feet past the crosswalk. The state needs to change the definition of the intersection, but efforts to do so have been blocked by those who don't like cameras so they can point to the flawed definition as a reason to oppose them.

Re: “If Only Our City Election Was Going To Be This Interesting

I'm not sure if Buehler is willing to take that bold a position on coffee.

Re: “The Skinny

"Although Buehler-Garcia has not yet applied for matching funds, he told The Skinny earlier this week he's past the 200 contribution threshold"

His campaign bragged about having the 200 qualifying contributions after his epic Twitter-thon, yet when he filed his campaign finance report, he had not received them. So is he lying or just bad at math?

Re: “(UPDATE) OK, So We're Not No. 2, But ...

1) The American Lung Association appears to have done a fair amount of research on the air quality issue:…

2) In their "America's Most Bikeable Neighborhoods" study, the Atlantic stated, "The top-rated city overall is Tucson, with 89 neighborhoods that score 70 or higher." The criteria can be found here:…

3) Average income in Tucson is too low, I agree. But remember that our cost-of-living is also quite low. Tucson was listed earlier this month as the #2 city to "Get More Apartment for Less Money" by Apartment Guide:…

Tucson has recently made several top ten lists:

Best Cities for Jobs, Forbes…
Most Hospitable, BuzzFeed…
Most Pet Friendly,…
Best Cities to Find a Job, CareerBliss…
Best Transit Systems, Brookings Institute…
Best Places to Retire, Wall Street Journal…
Best Performing Midsized Cities, Headlight…
Best Housing Markets,…
Entrepreneurial Hot Spot, Entrepreneur Magazine
Best Weekend Getaway, U.S. News and World Report…

Tucson is a city on the rise. I don't know why we have to knock publications that point that out.
