I think he meant that, other than illegally entering the country (an obvious fact), that he had been law abiding. It's probable that most viewers were smart enough to understand that.
Sully is a professional "gay catholic", sort of a variant of "gay republican" where he spends all of his punditry arguing with himself.

actually it has been with us - under various names - since the South lost the Civil War and it isn't going to fade in the old South any time soon.
What has happened is that as a result of the Southern Strategy it has spread nationwide in Republican circles and has taken over the party. That will fade once the party loses enough elections outside the South.
But in the Deep South it will be with us for a long long time.
Gotta agree. I hate to see McSally win, but Barber doesn't deserve re-election and if the party isn't going to replace him that might be the only way to get him to retire.
Two years from now we can choose a real Dem to run against McSally and see how that goes.
Varney hates Tucson and wants to turn it into Las Vegas or Phoenix or something similar. We wish he would go back home and leave us alone.
