He has my vote. He questions whether expenses like the too wide expansion of the Broadway Corridor are relevant with today's traffic projections. He cares about neighborhoods and works hard to solve problems with matters affecting them. Even in matters where I might disagree, I feel he has thought through things and made choices, rather doing the politically expedient.
A fine description of the ruling party. How about writing about the valiant efforts of the minority party to stop all this stupid nonsense? By the way the "ruling party" is Republican - for people who don't really know what is going on up there.
I hope Mr. Duval didn't give his D and F grades to all legislators, just to the extremist Republicans who don't care what the people really think think about the importance of funding education, and many other issues. All the Democratic legislators fought valiantly against the measures that go against what is best for the majority of the people and their needs. It was not Democrats who voted for the crazy Armageddon bill, diverting money from public schools to private, and voted against women, etc. etc.
Great work Sol. What a creative response to a really dumb plan to give away guns!
Those guys are really nut cases. Why are they so concerned about saving the lives of the guns and not people? Sane, reasonable guns lovers should reject what the NRA has become.
I have voted for Raul since he was on the Tucson Unified School District Board and think he is one of the best things that has happened to southern Arizona. He cares about people and votes his conscience. He has the courage to be a true Progressive and sponsored the most creative solution to the budget crisis of anyone - even the Wall Street Journal said that budget was the best of all the budgets - Dem. or Rep. We need him back in Congress.
