Re: “Grijalva on Huppenthal: Alarming Behavior and Terrible Judgment

People on welfare/food stamps/Section 8 housing/ etc. etc are for the most part lazy people. The problem is that our Government both State and Federal has created an underclass of people dependent on the whims of Government, leading to sloth and laziness. Once citizens get on these programs, there is little incentive to get off, why should they with all these freebies around? Huppenthal is not far off in his analysis.

On the issue of Planned Parenthood...comparing this to the Holocaust is a bit of a stretch in that the young people who wish to have an abortion do so on their own free will. In the Holocaust, abortions were forced on the population to rid it of "undesirables" Planned Parenthood also does good things for its cliental, other than operating as an abortion mill.

Re: “Huppenthal's Perverted Worldview "Borders on Holocaust Denial"

The nature of the Holocaust did not begin with Darwin, or the social theorists of the 19th century, but in the period after the Bar Kochba revolt of 136 A.C.E. This is when Rome crushed the Jewish revolt against Rome. From that time on and especially with the Christian Church developing into a political powerhouse, the Jews in Western Europe and in the Middle East were doomed. The Jews had two choices, either go "deeper" into Judaism or become like everyone else, either through conversion or simply becoming so "Reform" that one could not tell a Jew from a Christian. In both cases, the Christians saw through this ruse and acted accordingly. The Jews in Germany when given the opportunity, choose conversion simply as a means of "getting ahead and being accepted" To the Germans, they still were Jews regardless of whether they were now converts to Christianity, or were members of the new Reform movement. The same hatred that created anti semitism, in past centuries existed in Germany regardless of the many achievements of the Jews. This is what fueled the modern day Holocaust, and very little else.

Re: “ASU PD Under Scrutiny for Arrest of Professor

The policeman was doing his duty in protecting the public. Looking at the incident from his perspective the Professor was walking in the middle of the street. Was she on drugs, drunk, or simply confused. No one in his or her right mind would ever walk in the middle of any street anywhere in Arizona especially the Phoenix/Tempe area. When asked for an ID, the Professor invoked her aggression at the officer. All he asked for was an ID. There is no racism here, simply the officer was doing his job. Can you all imagine the headlines at the Tucson Weekly if it read" Woman Professor run down in Tempe while walking in the middle of a street, while police were on the street watching and doing nothing to prevent this from happening" All hell would break loose and rightfully so. The Tempe ASU policeman did his job.

Re: “Does Obama Stand a Chance in 2012?

As a confirmed racist, that is one who holds a KKK membership in two different States, I finally came to peace with Herman Cain as the potential new President of the USA. I thought that it was about time that a Free Negro, that is one who was not an affirmative action devotee rose up and broke the chains that almost every Black man and woman seems to revel in, and made something of his or her life. Cain fit the bill, except for the fact that the Democrats fearful that there are Free Black People around, decided to ruin Cain's candidacy with phony accusations of potential rape.
