Re: “Danehy: We have to win in November

Trump will mangle Joe in face to face debates, the guy just doesn't do well in showdowns unless given the softball questions like those in the primaries. His thinking on his feet ability is just not there. And we haven't even gotten to Hunter yet. The dems only hope is a deadlocked convention with someone like Cuomo emerging as the candidate, with all the press he's been receiving for his demanding, whining like wants and needs for one of the highest taxed states, he's still a better candidate for prez

Re: “Danehy: The Pandemic and Sports

Another article refraining from blaming our current government and it's leaders for current situations,
Be careful Tom. this could lead to all sorts of new perspectives, you could lose your job!

Re: “Danehy

it's curious to me when otherwise intelligent people forget their critical thinking ability by seeing themselves as angry victims. Did progressives actually believe Trump would lose in the senate even when Polosi finally delivered the weak ass articles of impeachment, and then expected the Senate to prove her case? That Bolton or Pompeo or any witness would have a smoking gun that would have changed anyone's mind? The Dems are playing the long game and are only interested in 2020 election, no current candidate will beat Donald. It's theoretically possible to regain power in the senate, but don't bet on it. There's nothing new here, just politics as usual in our post Citizens United world. No progress on health care, prescription drugs, infrastructure, education, or anything else.

Course Bloomberg, the 78 year old white billionaire, creates a similar situation in 2016, when Sander's supporters thru Hillary under the bus rather than vote for her. too bad folks, 4 more of do nothing politicians on both sides.

We need a third party

Re: “A Real shocker

hold on, TEP needs a rate increase partially due to the fact that it added 9,000 new customers? if the average monthly bill is $100/month or $1,200 per year, adds up to almost $11 Million in additional revenue. New developments in Tucson include having utilities up to the property lines (paid for by the developer) and any additional wiring to get power to the home is paid by the developer or the homeowner...what am I missing?

Re: “Quick Bites

Mr. Gardner,

It would better serve the community if you could stop this continuing emphasis on craft beer offerings, craft beer get together's, craft beer functions highlighting craft beers from other cities, craft beer fundraisers and the like. You need to get out more, go to new Tucson restaurant openings or even revisit some that have been reviewed, now that would be a column about chow!

Re: “Police Dispatch

Dear Ana,

please follow this story thru it's conclusion. It would be interesting to see how the university justice system decides what to do with a student who seems to have had a bad few days, got dumped, did some stupid inappropriate things, and ripped up some
name tags and labels. Expulsion? Jail? keep us informed
