Re: “Clear Change

Not one straw in Tucson would ever find it's way to the ocean, We have landfills here, too expensive to ship garbage to the sea for dumping. Not a bad thing having reusable straws, but it's more about "does it feel good? or does it do good"?
Kinda like dietary supplements...

and representing the height of arrogance, hubris, & dithering self righteousness, as to what a black person would feel under any circumstance.... good ole Tom.

Re: “Danehy

Another diatribe about the same ole same ole., with similar commenters and comments, yuk yuk. You have a bigger responsibility here than just repeating the judgements you and others have been yammering about for the last 24 months. There are no do overs Tom. Even if he's impeached, he'll never be convicted It's time to move on to another subject, lots of other things happening in the world, stop being lazy and get to it.

Re: “The Joy, the Suffering, the Poetry

Nothing to do with the article ,poet,or poetry, does anyone know how many transgender humans there are in the U.S. I've read that 4-8% of our population is LGBQT and wonder if there's any reliable agenda neutral data on the trans or genderqueer group.

TD,

I'm seriously interested in learning what positions characterize 'progressive democrats'

What are the requirements, and who are the leaders/spokespersons of this political group??

Re: “Four on the Floor

Tori,

who decided that including a candidate's (Domingo Degrazia) past voting history is relevant?
Why include voting information from 25 years ago in an article about Mr. Degrazia's current political positions or suitability to represent constituents.

I thought when or how many times someone votes to be confidential data.
Where did you get such information and does the public have access to it?

Why not include the same voting history of the other 3 candidates?

Otherwise, I liked the article, may you continue to improve your writing and journalistic chops
