We all know that chain restaurants don't serve freshly made food and they can't meet foodies expectations. I don't see the point in reviewing this type of restaurants. I was at Brio for lunch a couple of months ago and although the food wasn't bad, I will never go back because there was nothing special about anything. The decor, the service, the food just screamed chain restaurant and that is what it is.
I really don't think the blue willow has a good breakfast. I had a couple of bites of my omelette and I was already full. Real heavy food and nothing special.
Prosciutto is the Italian word for ham. Some people don't know that and it is translated on the menu. We have a wonderful pork ossobuco with porcini mushroom and white wine sauce. We don't advertise it as veal ossobuco. People love this dish and the person that criticized it never even tried it. I have the feeling I know who that person is. I wasn't aware that Walmart was carrying wines because I never shop there. We are as authentic as it can be. If you want to practice your Italian, please come over. I was born in Italy and lived there half of my life. I hate former employees who don't have a job and don't have better things to do but write fake reviews
There is a reason why these restaurants are now closed. Maybe people's expectations for good food are a little higher. I went to some of these restaurants and the food quality was real bad. I am Italian and know the difference. None of these places had decent food and I am glad they are no longer around
NYC expat, I think a review can help a restaurant but can also kill a restaurant. In this particular case after looking at the picture of the food and reading the experience of the critic I don't even want to try it. I think people don't see this particular restaurant as a chain since it is the only one in Tucson and with those high prices they should be warned if it is worth the money to go. Eventually all the restaurants in town will have a chance for a review. Do you have a particular restaurant in mind that you would like to see featured?
