Re: “Collateral damage

The opposition has won the war of words and the sex worker activist community is partly to blame.

Will they learn from it or repeat the same mistakes?

Re: “Collateral damage

"Imagine if hiring a sex worker wasn't just something that skeevy men do," she said. "Imagine if it was just something you did when you're lonely or whatever and you want companionship. That would probably attract a lot more decent people. I wanna only have decent people."

clients are NOT 'skeevy' men. That is the STIGMA talking. If people are forced to deal with people they do not want to deal with that is caused by criminalization and not having safe listing sites. Its due to the anti trafficking laws (truly anti prostitution laws) which have destroyed sex workers ability to advertise online.

Criminalization is the problem and the root of all the negatives including any unsafe working conditions.

Erotic services as a profession is not trafficking and a legal distinction must be made. NOT through legalization which gives police and the state control of our labor. We need decriminalization so WE control our earnings labor and safe working conditions.

This journalist may want to dig up the charging docs see how often cops are having sexual contact during investigations prior to arrests
