Ellington in Tucson... oddly I ran across two other Tucson references almost at random; a mention in Behind the Shades Revisited of Dylan owning property here some time in the '70s (is that where Sir Paul got the idea from?) and Elvis Costello mentions hanging around Tucson for a while in his wonderful Unfaithful Music and Disappearing Ink.
Well... "trendy" maybe in the sense of lowering the rent and offering less expensive items. Which is what Elle did recently. In this economy, how many high- (or even higher-) end restaurants can survive?
