This is to comment on what Justiceforall said. I would like to go point by point. First off more Americans have their identity's stolen by Natural Born citizens than any demographic you can refer to. Secondly i have piety for the young man who committed suicide however the Law Enforcement community could have easily fixed his problem by acknowledge that his identity was in fact stolen and place an alert on his file. Many Americans go through what this young man went through and in fact fight credit bureaus, the IRS for non existent back taxes etc etc all done by an American. The family that you mentioned that could not buy a home. Well the housing market has always been slanted towards the haves and have not. You can have nothing on your credit and still be denied a mortgage based on the fact that you have a clean credit report. I can also go on and on about how regular everyday Americans are affected by ID theft. You mention that an illegal immigrant takes a space at local universities that a native born citizen would have gotten. When was the last time you tried to enroll into a University like the University of Arizona or ASU with average grades and from a family just above the poverty level? Student Aid is based on your income not where you are from thats why when you graduate from high school if your parents make above that level they don't get any aid. I know it happened to me and it was almost four years after i got my high school diploma that i got a pell grant. You say that we are $13 trillion dollars in debt, well that debt has been spent on a war that has gone horribly wrong, a war on drugs once again a war that by all means was lost a long time ago, impoverished Americans who cant afford health care and the states taking up the slack of that problem on top of Politicians who mishandle money through pork barrel spending with the good o'l boy networking being involved in that as well. If you were to deport every illegal alien from the US tonight we still would have the same problems that have plagued our nation for decades. Illegal immigrants are the perfect scapegoat because they cant vote, they cant complain when they are mistreated IE illegal wages that most Americans would fight and sue over, and being targeted by criminal gangs who make money to bring them here in the first place. When you add all that in what you say carries little merit except to be a Knee Jerk reaction to a problem that is but a drop in the bucket compared to the problems that are ongoing.
I'm originally from Arizona born and raised and now live in Alabama. You want to see racism come here and see how Hispanics are treated. You would think the Gestapo and KGB got together for a reunion. The same people who bitch and moan about illegal immigration would have a stroke if they had to pay 50% more for their produce that they shove in their pie holes everyday and the same increase in housing cost due to american workers wanting top dollar for the cheap cookie cutter homes being put on the market in Tucson and Phoenix especially. Keep up the good work and put those racist and self hating Mexicans out there on blast
