Arizona Fish and Game, Fish and Wildlife Service, the veterinarians at the Phoenix Zoo, and Emil McCain are ALL culpable in the death of Macho B. I read about McCain and the project in the Journal of Mammalogy and then again in an article in Smithsonian. I came away thinking Wow ! what a dedicated wildlife biologist and what a neat place to work-alone out in the wilds doing important environmental and conservation work ! Deluded again !
