I don't know if this will help any restaurant owners with their decisions on this or not, but I won't visit. I will continue to order locally and pick up to take home, or have things delivered. Sorry, but it is just too soon. You also cannot eat with a mask on your face. So, everyone will be sitting around, inside, without masks. Just some thoughts on the topic. I would REALLY like to get back to eating out or going to my fave pub, but it is just NOT going to happen. Good luck to those of you who choose to open up. I hope you, your workers, and customers can stay safe and healthy!

Hi "Rat". This was Alice Vail Middle. They did not bother with it this year, nor did they 4 years ago, when my daughter went to the same school. Sad.

Congrats to you and your child, Mari!
My son's school has chosen to do NOTHING to celebrate this promotion to High School. Myself, and a couple other parents I know, are really disappointed. How tough would it have been, really, to decorate the cafeteria a bit, or rent the high school auditorium down the road for a couple hours, and pass out some printed certificates? I KNOW that us parents would have been all over it. Sadly, we were all told, "No". --- I am certainly happy for you and your ability to celebrate this important passage. (BTW -- My UHS, chronically ill child, has also been through hell this past couple of years!! Definitely a nightmare. ) I am so happy for you that your son found a special teacher with whom he could connect. That makes a huge difference!!
    Cheers!!

So sad to hear this. Doubly sad for my teen. She has a certificate to take a class here. She was hoping to find time this summer, after graduation and all. I guess I will now have to tell her the bad news. I also know there's not getting my $$ back either. ANYWAY.....sad news for this city.

Well said, Mr. G. --- Sad to see our school, and district, slowly hacked to death.

    Re: “Getting the Ax
This is terrible. Wow! However, I am not surprised at all. Corporations in this country can do whatever they want these days. There are no consequences at all. Just higher and higher profits for those at the top. Sad.
Target is not alone in this for sure, as the Denny's story illustrates. It is a trend in this country that, I'm sure, will continue. I have a friend whose husband was fired by UPS, just a month before his 20 years w/the company. He was earning $30/hour. Apparently too much. So, he was fired.....they later offered him a job back w/them for $10/hour. Isn't that nice!!! My friend had to scramble to get a crummy night job, as she had been a stay at home mom, just so they would have health insurance for their young boys. They now BOTH work full time and, combined, earn less than he earned alone. They are trying to keep their home. Something is terrbly wrong with this trend. I will now have to reconsider shopping at Target. I do NOT shop at Wally-world because of it's policies. Soon I will have no place to shop, I guess.

    Re: “They're Back ...
Anyone out there been yet? Feed back!! Is it great? Is it worth the money?
My kids want to go and we are thinking of splurging tomorrow and paying for the tickets. Would really like to know if it is worth the cost!
    Thanks
