The City improvements are beautiful. If you haven't been to Sentinel Peak Park recently, go check it out, then come help us celebrate August 1 at 5:30.

Hooray for Randy. Si, se puede!
I'm so glad Gabrielle will be in town for the concert. She loves Ron and knows he's the best candidate for southern Arizona. Thanks for everything Gabby. We love you and your friend Ron!
I've got a tip for you, Republicans. If you don't like abortion, don't have one!
In France there is a name for the kind of inane diatribe that Danehy spews about elected officials. It's called "Hateful Speech" and it is currently being used to legally punish defamed designer John Galliano for his "public insults based on origin, religious affiliation, race or ethnicity," a crime which can mean up to six months in prison and up to $32,175 in fines." I'm not sure whether it's because she's a woman or because of her Mexican origin, but Danehy should be called out for his repeated attacks on Regina Romero. Did he learn nothing from the civility conversations we have been having since the shootings in Tucson? Apparently not.
I agree that Regina Romero is doing a great job for us. She's always focused on finding money for projects - streets, neighborhood improvements and job creation. That's what we need.
Congrats to City Council members for having a public process to use the building and congrats to MOCA for working to raise the money to fix it up and maintain it. An excellent public/private partnership. I look forward to MOCA's grand opening on February 6th!
You are right that illegal graffiti is a huge problem in Tucson. I attended the event and learned the City is investing in youth so they can get job skills for the future. See photos of the art on Tucson's Birthday website. The kids had a special birthday event and presented the community with the gift of a mural depicting Tucson's natural and cultural history.
