The Creative Space

Materials and activities are available in the lobby to encourage families to create museum-inspired artwork; free with admission. Children's Museum Tucson

Filled with hands-on educational exhibits, including Build It!, where kids can use engineering to create whatever they can imagine; Bodyology, a health-and-wellness exhibit, and Investigation Station, a playful, participatory exhibit about science, technology and mathematics. Family Brain Boost each Saturday is a science experience for the whole family, and daily scheduled and spontaneous programs enrich early-childhood education. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday (open Mondays during the summer) and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekends; $8, under 1 year free; $3 admission on Sundays between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Center for Creative Photography

Focusing on preservation, access and education, the center actively collects, preserves and makes available materials to foster the understanding and appreciation of photography and its history. Featuring archives, collections, education programs, exhibitions and publications, the museum holds the archives of more than 50 great 20th-century photographers, including Ansel Adams, Harry Callahan, Edward Weston and Garry Winograd. All-Breed Horse Show

Wingspan Youth Programs

Eon collaborates with several other agencies to provide support groups, outreach, homelessness services, social activities, and educational and career enrichment to gay, lesbian, bisexual, two-spirit, transgender, queer, questioning, intersexed and straight-ally youth. Youth may also become volunteers or get more information about activism. Leadership training is provided for LGBT and allied youth ages 13 through 23.
