Take advantage of the great outdoors this Labor Day weekend at the 46th TMC Saguaro National Park 8-mile run and 5k walk. The event is one of the few that allows participants to enjoy a national park, with the run sprawling over the Rincon Mountains at Saguaro National Park East (3693 S. Old Spanish Trail Road).
The run starts at 6 a.m. sharp on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 5. Proceeds from the race go to help Friends of Saguaro, which aids in upkeep of the park. Registration and other information can be found at www.azroadrunners.org.
