You have plenty of options this New Year's Eve

NYC/NYE at Hotel Congress. The venerable hotel (311 E. Congress St.) is transformed into New York City for the night, complete with a NY-style hot dog truck, a Talking Heads cover band, a CBGB-like rock club on the Club Congress stage, appearances by Rockettes dancers and a Frank Sinatra impersonator, as well as a gigantic disco bowl drop at midnight. Lucha Libre Año Nuevo. A night of mambo music and lucha libre wrestling at the Rialto Theatre (310 E. NYE in AZ. Plush (340 E. Sixth St.) might be hosting the biggest bargain of your end-of-year options. For $5, prepare to be entertained by a parade of (most) of Tucson's most talented DJs, including DJ Herm, Dewtron (also known as Tucson Weekly contributor Casey Dewey), electro-indie-goth-etc. DJ Plastic Disease, as well as hosts E_Rupt from La Cocina's NUNU and the Opti Club's Dan Hernandez. Rick Braun's New Year's Eve 2013. The JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort (3800 W. Starr Pass Blvd.) is the place for jazz lovers, with performances by trumpeter Rick Braun, saxophonist Mindi Abair, guitarist Norman Brown, singer Elliot Yamin of American Idol fame and the Tucson Jazz Institute's Ellington Big Band. New Year's Eve Murder Mystery. The Tucson Dinner Theater (4855 E. Broadway Blvd.) is performing Murder at the Vampire's Wedding.
