'Family Guy' Killed Off Its Best Character

Why couldn't it have been John Herbert?

Spoiler alert! The dog bites the dust!

Brian was ran over and killed off in last night's latest episode of Family Guy. Apparently, the beloved character won't be coming back.

Someone created a R.I.P. Brian Griffin from Family Guy Facebook page. The page gained 144k likes in less than 14 hours.

Family Guy executive producer Steve Callaghan said this was a popular idea in the writers room:

Well, this was an idea that got pitched in the writers room and it sort of caught fire, and we thought it could be a fun way to shake things up. As soon as this idea came up, we started talking about what the next couple episodes could be and we got very excited about the way this change will affect the family dynamics and the characters.

This upsets me because Brian was the character I related to the most. I agreed with his stand on legalizing marijuana, most of his politics and love for older woman with kids. As the old saying goes, "all dogs go to heaven." Brian was an atheist, so I don't know where he will end up.
