I'm not entirely sure why Damon Albarn (one of the albums producers) had to make this song sound like a Gorillaz record, but hey, it is a new Bobby Womack song and since the soul legend is fighting cancer and recently spent time in the hospital, I'll try to be thankful for whatever I can get.
