While exhibits like the packrat playhouse and the Warden Oasis Theater are temporarily closed and animal shows and interpretive talks are on hold, the Desert Museum is still a place of wonder for kids and adults alike. Since attendance is limited, you have to make a reservation in advance, but as long as you wear a face mask, you and the kids are welcome back to the sprawling zoo that makes learning about the desert a hands-on, fun experience.
