Greyhound Abuse Protest on Saturday

Because of an undercover video that was published in late 2010, many questions have been raised recently about the living conditions of the dogs at Tucson Greyhound Park. The dogs are kept in complete darkness all day, are constantly muzzled, and live in confining cages which they are rarely let out of.

On Saturday, Jan. 15, a group of people upset by the video are going to be protesting at Midtown Bar & Grill, 4915 E. Speedway Blvd., demanding better conditions for the dogs at Tucson Greyhound Park.

The group will be meeting at the restaurant at 3:30 p.m., and the protest will continue as long as people can stay.
