RIP, Gerry Rafferty

Sure, Gerry Rafferty wasn't the biggest pop star of the '70s, but he was responsible for three massive pop hits, including one of my favorite soft-rock songs of all time, "Right Down the Line":

Rafferty had a career resurgence when Quentin Tarantino used his band Stealers Wheel's "Stuck in the Middle With You" in Reservoir Dogs. Also, his 1978 song "Baker Street" was recognized by BMI last year for being played 5 million times on radio worldwide.

Rafferty was 63.
