Bohemia (with a great selection of work by local artists and craftspeople) and Cafe Passé (with wonderful food and a secret shaded back garden) got together with newcomers Wooden Tooth and Ventana Gallery, and it catalyzed ... a little village, under one roof, greater than the sum of its parts. Wooden Tooth carries funky fashion by local designers in a cabinet-of-curiosities format. Ventana Gallery features slick metal artwork and handmade jewelry. It's easy to spend a couple of hours here noshing and shopping. At least once a month, the Little Village pulls out all the stops and hosts an evening party. The wine flows; the band plays; the velvet paintings dazzle. Not your standard (yawn) art opening.
