Live storytelling is a long-held tradition that's seen a pop-culture comeback over the last decade. Tucson has a few great, regular storytelling events, but there's something about honoring and holding space for women brave enough to take the stage and talk about their challenges, traumas and triumphs that just inspires you to own your shit and face life head on. Every second Wednesday of the month at Cans Deli, fem folks from the community take the stage to make the audience laugh and cry. It's definitely worth stopping in, and you'll likely become a regular or maybe even submit a story to get on the stage yourself. Admission is just $7 and the proceeds benefit World Care.
