For those progressives who are tired of just tweeting #Resist and actually want to be a part of the democratic process, attending a State House Democratic primary forum is a great way get off the couch.

AZ Clean Elections Commission is holding a Legislative District 10 primary forum where the four Democratic candidates will get a chance to debate the issues.

Two of the candidates, out of incumbent Kirsten Engel and newcomers Domingo DeGrazia, Nicki Lee and Catherine Ripley, will go to the general election against Republican incumbent Todd Clodfelter.

LD10 includes mid-town Tucson east of Campbell Avenue between Speedway Boulevard and 22nd Street, Tucson's east side, the Foothills east of Bear Canyon, Davis Monthan area and Civano. Registered voters are 37 percent Democrat, 32 percent Republican and 30 percent other.

The forum is on Tuesday, July 24, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Saguaro High School, 545 N. Camino Seco.
