The GOP establishment continues to come out in support of Republican Jonathan Paton, who is in a four-way race for the chance to take on Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
Today, Arizona Congressman Jeff Flake announced he was endorsing Paton. From the press release:
Arizona Congressman Jeff Flake, a national leader in the fight against government waste and corruption, endorsed Jonathan Paton today, citing Jonathan's record as a reformer.
"I am thrilled to endorse Jonathan Paton's candidacy for Congress," Flake said. "Jonathan's work in fighting for transparency and openness in government is sorely needed in Congress. In a time where too manyin Washington feel entitled to their jobs, you can count on Jonathan to be a strong voice for government reform. We need more people fighting for freedom in Washington, which is why I wholeheartedly endorse Jonathan Paton for Congress."

Flake, who represents Arizona's Sixth District, has received the highest score of any Member of Congress on the National Taxpayers Union scorecard for a record eight consecutive years. NTU rates members on their dedication to lower taxes, limited government and economic freedom.
Jonathan Paton has his own record of fighting for limited government, reform and transparency. He passed the largest tax cut and the largest cut to state government in Arizona history. And he's been awarded a Freedom of Information award for three years straight from the Arizona Newspaper Association for his work to reform the state's troubled Child Protective Services agency and strengthen state public records laws.
