Walking into Fronimo's is like walking into a café in the Mediterranean. With golden-colored walls, ethnic music and framed photographs of Crete, the atmosphere in Fronimo's is warm and inviting. The menu offers a mix of specials (gyros, moussaka, pastitsio, lamb shank and more) and American fare like hamburgers, tuna melts and grilled cheese. The food is fresh and delicious—including the light and flavorful pita bread. Traditional offerings such as the spanakopita and baklava are moist and perfectly spiced. Items are reasonably priced, and after you order at the counter, you can get your food to-go—but with such a nice environment, you might as well stay and soak up the Mediterranean vibe.
