Cafe Passe is our second home. The only difference is the food is much better. The nicest, most down-to-earth people work there (and they have the cutest hair on Fourth Ave.—just sayin'). There's an awesome patio, where you can sit in the shade of mesquite trees all day, sipping coffee, drinking home-made kombucha and eating hummus toast. And since they opened the bar side, we don't have to leave at 6. Instead, we just transition from coffee to beer while hearing the jubilant shouts of the improv group practicing next door or the band getting ready for their evening set.
