Best Farmers' Market Vendor

Barrio Bread

18 S. Eastbourne Ave.

Bread maker Don Guerra is on the rise, to say the yeast. The Tucson native got his first experience making bread in Flagstaff and honed his craft in Oregon before returning to Tucson and starting small-scale in his own neighborhood (hence the name Barrio Bread). It was such a hit that he started moving loaves at farmers' markets and now has his own bakery in the Broadway Village at Broadway and Country Club. He only bakes so many loaves each day, though, so get there early before he sells out.
