The Associated Press is reporting that Brett Somers, one of the world's great "fag hags," is dead at the age of 83.
Somers was known as a fine acting teacher and the estranged wife of Jack Klugman, but she's--by far--best known as a regular on Match Game. She sat next to Charles Nelson Reilly (who died earlier this year) and was often a foil for his jokes.
She'll live on in Match Game reruns, as will Reilly, Gene Rayburn and those long microphones. But nonetheless, she'll be missed by her fans.
