Blowing Your Anonymity

Valencia and Mission Roads, Aug. 9, 10:54 a.m.

A woman who skipped out on a restaurant bill apparently left behind her wallet, which contained all sorts of identifying information, a Pima County Sheriff's Department report said.

An employee at Casita de Molina, 3220 W. Valencia Road, told authorities that two women came in and ate a meal. They then left before paying their $26.50 check.

However, one of the women left behind her wallet, which contained a driver's license, a checkbook, an Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System card, a food-stamp card, an adult-probation card and a Wells Fargo bank card--among other things.

A deputy attempted to reach the suspect at one of the addresses found in the woman's belongings, but was unsuccessful at the time of the report. All the items were placed into evidence.

The restaurant employee told authorities that he'd be willing to let the woman pay her check; if she didn't, however, he wanted to press charges.

Help Me Find My Kitty

Hardy and Oracle Roads, Aug. 3, 2:02 p.m.

A woman accused her estranged husband of flashing her repeatedly after he called her over to look for his cat, according to a PCSD report.

The woman said she could tell that her estranged husband had been drinking when she arrived. He exposed himself to her several times, even after she had asked him to stop, the woman alleged. He also talked about the gun he had in his safe, which was out of character for him, the woman said.

The woman said she was afraid her husband might try to come over to her apartment, although she said he wasn't physical and made no open threats. A deputy advised her to seek a restraining order.

Cutthroat Competition

Unincorporated Pima County, July 30, 12:06 a.m.

A woman said a female acquaintance threatened her over her plans to open a restaurant in Green Valley, a PCSD report stated.

The woman told a deputy that the acquaintance called her up to tell her that if she opened the business, "She would be sorry," the report said. The acquaintance apparently also has a restaurant in Green Valley and didn't want the competition.

The reportee said her son had worked for the acquaintance; she added that the woman tried to make her feel guilty since the woman had done her son a favor.

The reportee said she had seen her future competitor's temper flare up in the past, so she wanted to make the report in case anything happened.
