A Pima County Sheriff's Department report said that a Tucsonan on his way to school found a dead javelina--posed like it was enjoying a beer and a smoke--on the hood of his car.
The javelina had a cigarette in its mouth and a paw draped over a beer bottle, the report said. A six-pack of beer was also sitting next to it.
According to the deputy who responded to the call, the animal appeared to have been struck by a car and then placed on the vehicle.
There were no witnesses or suspects at the time of the report.
Strange Conversation

A staff member at an elementary school overheard a student talking about how her brother "needed to bite her to make up for the lost time while he was in a coma," a PCSD report said.
The female student, who was speaking to a peer, claimed her brother had also chased her with a butcher knife, the staff member told authorities.
She allegedly added that she "had a good night last night," because "she did not have to barricade herself in." It wasn't clear from the report what that meant.
There were no bite marks on the girl, the staff member told a PCSD operator, adding that the brother had been in some kind of accident that, to the best of her knowledge, had left him wheelchair-bound.
Botox And Go
West River and North Oracle Roads, Feb. 12, 11:22 a.m.
According to a PCSD report, a woman got a Botox treatment at a cosmetic surgery clinic and then skipped out on the bill.
The woman received a $40 consultation in addition to the $1,064 treatment at Aesthetic Surgery of Tucson, 5585 N. Oracle Road, the report said.
She then told the receptionist she needed to get her debit card from her vehicle, the nurse said. Instead, she reportedly drove away.
Information left with the clinic indicated the woman was a 20-year-old employed by the U.S. Army National Guard in Sierra Vista.
